Mid-Market Account Executive

Zoom is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive in Tokyo to drive revenue growth through effective territory management and consultative sales approaches. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and customer relationship management abilities. You will work with Mid-Market Customers (Employee counts of 51-500) to understand their needs, deliver compelling product presentations, and provide them with the right Zoom platform solutions. This is a Tokyo based role, and report to the MassMarket Sales Manager based in Tokyo.

The dynamic Zoom Mid-Market sales team in Japan delivers cutting-edge communication solutions to clients. They engage passionately with customers, focusing on strategic partnerships and a customer-centric approach to expand Zoom's global presence. Their pivotal role ensures businesses harness the full potential of virtual collaboration while achieving consistent revenue targets through pipeline management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving revenue growth through territory management, customer acquisition strategies, and comprehensive account planning
  • Building and manage sales pipeline with targeted prospecting to consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Developing strong customer relationships to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Conducting effective discovery calls and deliver compelling virtual product presentations using consultative sales approaches
  • Collaborating with internal teams to optimize sales processes and outcomes
  • Enhancing team performance through knowledge sharing and mentoring activities

What We're Looking For

  • Have 5+ years of Account Executive experience in any technology company
  • Experience in independently acquiring new business opportunities with customers (as a sales representative)
  • Have business-level Japanese to communicate with local Japanese customers
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and other sales applications (Outreach and Zoom info)
  • Have a proven record in Sales achievement and pipeline management
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of consultative selling approaches and territory management principles
  • Experience with UCaaS or platform sales is a bonus point
