Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver/Customer Service Representative position. The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver/Customer Service Representative delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones and is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: loading and unloading freight and accurately filling out truck manifest, accurately filling out gas invoices, delivering freight and gas cylinders to customers, taking basic orders from customers when needed, greeting customers in a professional and enthusiastic way, answering telephone calls promptly, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use, selling welding and safety products and services to customers, processing customer orders and accurately inputting customer order into the computer, researching products needed for customer special applications, following up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedying situation, performing other tasks as assigned or necessary.
Qualifications: no at fault accidents or DOT violations resulting in suspension within the last 3 years, ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs, knowledge of hauling hazardous material, ability to work safely around special hazards, must have minimum Class B with hazmat endorsement, ability to drive and back tractor trailer combination, ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
