Career Opportunity: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our customers, managing the billing processes, and assisting with inventory management/coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and care.
  • Process customer billing, issue invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with production scheduling, shipments, and preparing the necessary documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service and inventory accuracy.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain up to date records in our system.
  • Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Support general office tasks and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Ability to fill in for Customer Service Manager as necessary

What You Need To Succeed:

  • Previous experience in customer service, billing, or inventory management preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, comfortable learning new software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor.

The salary range for this position is $39,375.00 - $65,625.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
