Ad Sales Executive

PayPal is seeking an experienced Ad Sales Executive to drive growth in our expanding Ads business. This key role focuses on prospecting, business development, and sales, targeting a select group of PayPal merchant partners. You'll utilize your industry connections to secure opportunities for enterprise and mid-market brands to feature offers across PayPal's marketing channels. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in launching and growing ad platforms. This is a commission-based role.

The opportunity is to drive sales, increase market share, and demonstrate true ROI on merchants' investments. We seek high-performing individuals who bring positivity, solutions, and alignment with our cross-collaborative culture. In this role, you will use data-driven insights and a consultative sales approach to create compelling pitches that drive results. Your passion for selling impactful solutions will help improve customers' bottom lines. You'll focus on developing relationships with new customers, leveraging leads from enterprise and mid-market teams, and collaborating with the Product team to onboard them to our advanced offers platform. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of launching and growing ad platforms for merchant customers.

In your day-to-day you will:

  • Leverage your experience and connections in sales to exceed revenue targets.
  • Prospecting to your book of business, pitching for successful close
  • Work well cross-functionally with AdOps, Sales, Marketing and other important teams
  • Generate a pipeline across key brand verticals including Retail, Home and Garden, Beauty, Travel, Electronics, Groceries and Dining
  • Build effective and long-lasting relationships with brand-side stakeholders at Director+/VP levels, becoming a trusted advisor.

What do you need to bring:

  • Digital advertising sales, or payments sales with 6+ years of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Card-linked offer Sales/Management preferred
  • Breaking and growing business by developing long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Leveraging CRM tools to create and manage a pipeline that is consistently updated and accurate.
  • Data-driven selling, and you're comfortable with business and media performance metrics.
  • Influencing decisions up and across an organization through excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.

PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience. The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. For more information, visit https://www.paypalbenefits.com. The US national annual pay range for this role is $123,000 to $224,400.
