Job Summary:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for using your knowledge of company products or services to connect with CPG companies (small to medium accounts) to generate new bookings. Duties include developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making cold calls to prospects and or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of sales activities in Salesforce.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Be an expert on all TraceGains products
  • Identify prospective customers, through lead generation and conversion, leveraging the same technology used by the Sales Development resources
  • On a consistent basis, contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems and answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the revenue team and work with customer success and marketing to grow and develop pipeline
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Determine number of viable prospects to target within assigned accounts
  • Ensure all assigned accounts have cross functional and executive contacts
  • Develop, grow, and maintain an annual pipeline exceeding $1.5M

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 1-3 years of SaaS sales experience, consistently achieving quota
  • Strong negotiation skills, the ability to motivate and inspire people
  • Food & Beverage and Supplements industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Advanced computer skills with CRM, Microsoft Office, Sales Loft, ZoomInfo
  • Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change
  • 20-30% travel required to customer sites, industry events, and company meetings
  • Successful completion of a drug and background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
