Customer Service Supervisor

VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital seeking an experienced Client Service Professional to join our active management team as Customer Service Supervisor. In this leadership role, you will work closely with other department supervisors and managers to develop company protocols, direct procedural change and mentor our support staff. We are committed to implementing innovative and effective ideas to change the future of veterinary medicine and want you to be part of that team!

The right candidate for this job would be an enthusiastic and outgoing personality that loves people. This person will join a team of supervisors to help guide, train, and nurture our ever growing front desk administration team. Working side by side with the team, the Customer Service Supervisor will interact directly with the clients as well as be a part of our leadership team working to develop and drive hospital initiatives to continue to make us a premier 24-hour emergency/referral/multi-specialty and general practice. Candidates would preferably have a minimum of 2 years experience managing teams of 20+ team members.

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer’s trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

  • Providing excellent client service including: greeting visitors warmly, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Helping clients to understand the financial aspects of their visit; processing payments and insurance claims
  • Assisting clients in selecting the right products and services for their individual pet
  • Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
