The Valeo site based in Cergy (95) is the headquarters of the Valeo Power Division. This Research & Development center brings together 800 employees around the design of electric propulsion systems (inverter, on-board charger, etc.).

We are recruiting an OEM Key Account Manager.

In 2022, Valeo launched the revolutionary Cyclee eBike system (MDU/Batteries/HMI).

The Mid Drive Unit with integrated gearbox is a technological advancement and has already been chosen by many electric bike manufacturers. We are looking to renew our sales team to develop the business in Europe and to follow up on sales activities.

Within the Valeo New Mobility entity, in a dynamic and growing market, your main missions will be to participate in the development of sales, develop and follow your portfolio of clients, contribute to the roadmap of the platform strategy, and introduce new products of the Valeo eBike Cyclee range on the market.

Your missions:

  • Development of sales:
  • Participate and contribute actively to the implementation of the platform strategy
  • Build and animate the sales strategy of electric bikes and the customer development plan
  • Identify new clients and influencers
  • Coordinate with the platform's technical sales team the preparation of offers to ensure they are consistent with the market and competitors' positions and that they are profitable for the business.
  • Support the marketing process by providing internal feedback on the information received during client contact (strategy, organization, international development, production sites, production forecasts, planned launches of new vehicles, etc.) in collaboration with the Platform.
  • Build the customer strategy roadmap of the platform
  • Be in charge of client interaction throughout the project (initial discussions, prototype, project reviews, series life and end of production).
  • Administrative follow-up of accounts to ensure the management of clients, invoicing, and sales reporting.

Management:

  • Direct and coordinate 2 eBike KAMs

Reporting:

  • Responsible for the preparation and achievement of sales and order budgets by activity and the 5-year development plan for the electric bike market for which he is responsible.

Pricing:

  • Responsible for a pricing strategy consistent with customer expectations, budget, and platform growth strategy.
  • Responsible for negotiating prices and end-of-year discounts with customers.
  • Actively participate in reducing customer delays and implement an improvement plan and exceed budget, identify exceptional cash flow opportunities.

About You:

  • Engineer or commercial graduate degree
  • 5 years of experience in automotive equipment or electric bike industry, digital marketing
  • Fluency in English
