Customer Service Representative

We're seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support depositor account customers by providing accurate information, timely issue resolution, and exceptional service across phone, email, and written inquiries. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming customer calls and inquiries.
• Provide accurate information regarding deposit products, programs, policies, and processes.
• Process telephone requests for account information and applications, and communicate outcomes to customers.
• Maintain and update existing accounts in accordance with servicing guidelines.
• Research, analyze, verify, reconcile, and perform required account actions promptly.
• Handle email and written correspondence professionally and accurately.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Report issues affecting customer satisfaction and escalate complaints as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of comparable and competitor products.
• Follow up on customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in banking or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of business processes and departmental procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional while resolving complex issues.

Work Environment:

Hybrid Schedule:

• First 90 days in-office (performance-based).
• Afterward, hybrid schedule requiring at least 8 in-office days per month (approximately twice per week).

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
