The Financial and Customer Support Technician position specializes in fiscal knowledge/skills and includes processing numerous financial documents, following purchasing procedures, paying of purchase orders, and authorizations. This position requires attention to detail and accuracy as it supports the participant's employment plan by coordinating the purchasing of goods and services. Additionally, this position provides fiscal support for vocational counselors and other staff on the team including referral information for other required services for participants or potential participants.
This position will be based out of the Apple Valley office. Travel is required within the service area to assist participants with services (e.g., purchasing of goods at local vendors) up to five (5) days per week. This position requires weekly statewide travel to attend meetings with current and potential community partners, regional meetings, to conduct on-site visits, and to attend staff trainings and meetings. Occasional travel is necessary to attend meetings or trainings in other areas of the state.
This position is telework eligible. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment. Please note, the telework policy could change with notice based on business needs.
