We're looking for a high-energy, growth focused Strategic Account Manager with a winning mindset, a positive attitude, and a hunter's drive to uncover new opportunities. In this role, you'll grow a select group of successful strategic accounts in the Label Markets while actively identifying and pursuing new business, both within existing customers and across the broader market. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive profitable growth through account penetration, pipeline development, and deal closure.
Key Activities:
Strategic market intelligence: Dig deep into the label market dynamics to uncover structure, trends, and unmet needs through targeted studies and analysis. Engage directly with customers and key influencers-including equipment manufacturers and material suppliers, to understand evolving expectations and market shifts. Identify and pursue new opportunities by scouting emerging markets, applications, and customer segments with a hunter's mindset. Fuel innovation by helping prioritize R&D efforts and collaborating with technical service to resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a science-related field; technical degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. 8 years in territory or account management, with a strong record of success in competitive environments. Experience in the chemical or adhesive markets, either directly or indirectly, is highly valued. Positive, proactive, and "can-do" attitude with a winning mentality and strong desire to pursue new business opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and situations. Strong ability to analyze and present data effectively for both customer-facing and internal use. Flexible, dynamic, and open-minded, with a willingness to embrace change and drive innovation. Skilled in building long-term, value-based customer relationships through effective negotiation. Must be based in the Midwest or Northeast Ability to travel 40-60%.
