Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned external clients. Develop, execute, and manage annual client renewal, retention, cross-selling, and up-selling strategies in collaboration with Sales and Partnership teams. Participate in prospecting efforts and contract negotiation processes by providing product/service expertise and supporting documentation. Lead proposal development efforts based on RFPs and client inquiries, ensuring accuracy, value alignment, and strategic fit. Oversee client onboarding post-contract execution and managing ongoing account operations and performance. Coordinate closely with internal Marketing and operational teams to ensure contractual obligations are met on time and within scope. Ensure adherence to Clients branding guidelines and quality assurance standards. Direct and manage workflows, project timelines, and long-term implementation plans aligned with client and Clients schedules. Manage complex, large-scale accounts across diverse industries and engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Balance priorities and workload across a portfolio of regional, national, and international clients. Represent a broad portfolio of Clients products and services with professionalism and subject matter credibility.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Management, Healthcare, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in business-to-business account management, client services, or sales within healthcare or a health-related industry. Proven experience managing complex client relationships and long-term strategic accounts. Strong knowledge of healthcare, health insurance, health promotion/disease management, health content, syndication, and advertising concepts.
