Reporting to the Director of Technical Operations, this position will be responsible for leading life-cycle management projects within the Technical Operations Department to successful and timely completion and hand-off to routine commercial manufacture.

Lead project teams for Technical Operations activities, both within Insmed and with external contractors.

Lead the transition of projects from Research into Technical Operations and through to readiness for registration and filing.

Ensure all functions are engaged and aligned with project goals including Manufacturing, Analytical Development, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory, with input from Commercial, Research, and Clinical.

Prepare and manage detailed project plans and drive them to successful completion.

Manage project teams and resources, analyze project risks, contingency plans, assess optimum path to minimize risks with technical experts' input, and raise issues to management for approval and resolution.

Ensure regular and proactive communication to all team members and stakeholders at all levels of Insmed.

Accountable for timely tracking and communication of deliverables to appropriate stakeholders.

Represent Technical Operations at appropriate meetings.

Implement, maintain, and continuously develop suitable tools, visuals, and metrics to support project management effectiveness, while aligning with the growing needs of Insmed.

Engage members outside of the project management function to leverage Project Management tools to meet their needs.

Other projects and assignments, as required.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and preference for 5+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industry. Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and ability to hold oneself and others accountable for commitments. Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional, high-performing teams. Exhibits leadership skills and ability to perform in fast paced environments. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with different departments. Ability to work well within a highly regulated environment. Working knowledge of key functional areas throughout all stages of product development, including Research, Preclinical, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, Quality Assurance. Innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset/vision. Exceptional computer skills (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with managing web-based applications. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Pay Range: $111,000.00-156,133.00 Annual
