Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying an Insurance Account Manager who will be responsible for managing day-to-day agency operations, supporting clients with policy changes, and coordinating directly with multiple insurance carriers. This individual will handle incoming calls, process endorsements, manage documentation, submit claims, and ensure clients receive accurate and timely support. The role requires strong familiarity with P&C insurance, the ability to operate within a management system (NowCerts), and confidence in evaluating client needs and coverage requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound/outbound phone calls (10-30 calls/day) to assigned clients
Make policy changes, run endorsements, and process new business
Submit claims and assist clients with coverage questions
Send certificates of insurance and maintain accurate documentation
Work with multiple carriers for quotes, updates, and policy servicing
Utilize our management system, NowCerts, for all daily workflows
Maintain assigned book of business; outreach is limited to select clients
Support overall office operations as needed

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in P&C insurance (flexible if highly skilled)
Active Iowa P&C License (appointed)
Strong understanding of foundational P&C concepts-must be able to explain basics clearly
Experience working with multiple carriers and familiarity with carrier products
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in small-team environments Preferred Experience
Prior experience using NowCerts or similar agency management systems
Proven success in policy servicing, endorsements, COIs, and claim submissions
Background handling personal and/or commercial lines
