Typical Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Account Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and relationships and supporting contractors with the products and expertise they need to succeed.
Meet or exceed the expectations of our customers by providing a positive customer experience
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship development
Manage and grow assigned customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors and customers
Conduct sales calls to follow up on customer inquiries and identify new opportunities
Generate price quotes and prepare bids that meet customer expectations for quality and value
Negotiate pricing for larger or high-volume customer opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Educate others, both internal and external, about HVAC
Assist with customer deliveries when necessary
Support the credit department with account follow-up and payment collection when needed
Participate in customer events and relationship-building activities
Maintain a professional image as a representative of the company
Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain regular and reliable attendance
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of HVAC industry sales experience
Strong knowledge of HVAC products and systems
Strong cold calling, sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining acceptable profit margins
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Eclipse software preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
Licenses
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
