Patient Services Representative - Healthcare Call Center

Join a dynamic healthcare call center team where your customer service skills directly support patient care. This is a 5-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Candidates must be open to working any 8-hour shift within this window.

Pay Range: $20-$21/hour

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89113 (ONSITE)

About the Role

As a Patient Services Representative, you'll manage inbound calls from patients seeking appointments, care coordination, or general assistance. You'll work in a dual-monitor setup using a soft phone system and handle a high volume of calls across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Handle 60-85 inbound calls daily; top performers exceed 100 calls/day.

Meet performance expectations of 70 calls/day by month 3.

Schedule appointments using EPIC across service lines.

Resolve inquiries efficiently with minimal transfers.

Adhere to scheduled shifts and ensure phone readiness.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of customer service experience (phone and in-person)
  • 6+ months of call center experience
  • Strong communication and call flow management skills

Preferred:

  • Healthcare experience (clinic operations, patient interactions)
  • EPIC system familiarity
