The Grants Compliance and Implementation Coordinator will direct and manage the Department of Public Safety's (DPS) grant activities to ensure that they are consistent with the strategies set by the Commissioner's and Governor's offices and comply with state and federal law. The position leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of DPS's grants management policy and procedures. The position will provide oversight of and guidance to DPS's grantmaking divisions on state and federal grants management policies and procedures. The position serves as the primary liaison between DPS and other state agencies such as the Department of Administration's (ADM) Office of Grants Management (OGM). Finally, the position will provide team leadership and day-to-day work direction of the DPS Agency Grants Team.
