The Digital Sales team at Workday helps the company to continue to grow by balancing integrity and innovation, ensuring Workmates have the environment to bring out their best self, and get better by pushing and developing themselves and the Workmates around them.

About the Role

Here at Workday, the Digital Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers. The team is growing and looking to hire a motivated account executive that will be focused on selling add-on products to the Office of the CFO and CHRO. One of Workday’s primary goals is to continue the growth of the company as an innovative and significant provider of enterprise-class software solutions. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing core product customers with a focus on upselling and cross-selling via deal management and connecting customer needs with specific solutions
  • Drive strategic add-on business within existing accounts
  • Work on net new product expansion deals, along with renewals of core products
  • Performs account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience exceeding sales quotas in a technology or software sales environment.
  • Proven track record of closing multiple deals per quarter
  • 2+ years experience in running a full sales cycle: source to close

Other Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with HCM/ERP software preferred
  • Technically adept, self-motivated, and driven by results
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with all respective customers
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and align with our culture

Workday Pay Transparency Statement: The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
