Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

About the Role

B&M Ashman is seeking a Customer Service/Billing Specialist to join our team in Onaway, MI. While this is a B&M Ashman position, we are subcontracted to provide services on behalf of Lakeshore Fiber, a fast-growing provider of high-speed fiber internet.

In this role, you'll support Lakeshore Fiber customers by assisting with account management, billing inquiries, and general customer service. If you're organized, friendly, and enjoy working in a small team environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

Assist customers with billing questions, payments, and account updates

Understand and clearly explain prorated bills and service charges

Resolve customer account issues and follow up as needed

Help customers with tickets, upgrades, and cancellations

Keep accurate records in internal systems

Work closely with the Lakeshore Fiber team to coordinate service and support

What We're Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to understand and explain billing details, including prorated charges

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Comfortable using office software (Excel, email, basic databases)

Previous experience in customer service or billing is preferred

Sonar or RingCentral experience a plus

Location: Onaway, MI (This is an in-person position) Schedule: Full-Time or Part Time, Monday--Friday Compensation: $16-$18
