Customer Service Representative

Express Calibration Services specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types. We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Customer Service team member to be based at our Kansas City, Lee's Summit, MO facility.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The CSR is often the first point of contact for customers and serves as a liaison between the customer and the company and is essential for maintaining positive customer relationships and contributing to a company's reputation. They play a crucial role in ensuring customer loyalty and driving business success through exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person.

• Assist customers with service quotes, repair estimates, job status, parts, and shipments.

• Process received/completed service work.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.

• Provide information about products, services, policies, and procedures.

• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and their needs are met.

• Document customer orders, interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately in the company's database or CRM system.

• Determine appropriate solutions and take necessary actions to resolve issues.

• Collaborate with other departments or teams to address complex customer problems.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service.

• Detail focused and oriented.

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.

• Familiarity with customer service software, CRM systems, and office software.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift 30 Lbs. unassisted.
