Customer Service Representative

We are looking for an experienced customer service representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Durham, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of providing excellent service in a call center setting. You will play a key role in handling a high volume of inbound calls and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inbound calls and address customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide accurate information and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Manage data entry tasks related to customer interactions and maintain detailed records.
  • Handle email correspondence to address customer concerns and follow up as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with relevant departments to meet customer needs.
  • Process orders and ensure timely and accurate entry into the system.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to organize and analyze data.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve service quality.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in managing both inbound and outbound calls as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a call center environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for managing and analyzing information.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with email correspondence and order entry processes.
  • Proven ability to schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
