Customer Care Representative

The Customer Care Representative assists the Customer Care Team in performing daily tasks to include fielding incoming customer phone calls and emails, answering customer questions, resolving order issues, tracking packages and responding to customer concerns. This position reports to the Customer Care Supervisor.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answers all incoming Customer Care phone calls; responds to voicemails and emails promptly.
  • Answers product questions via telephone and email and suggests information about other products.
  • Accurately and efficiently record notes pertaining to customer orders in order management system and gives customers information pertinent to their requests such as tracking and shipping information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Processes mail orders and catalog requests promptly as they are received and contact customers with mail order questions.
  • Opens customer accounts and maintains customer records by entering and updating account information.
  • Enters all customer email address changes and un-subscriptions into order management system and website.
  • Cross trained in all other contact center functions to include Sales and Operations and provides assistance in these areas when directed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is a must.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Customer Care, preferably in a Contact/Call Center setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
