The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission ("MSLC") Summer Internship Program provides emerging leaders with the opportunity to build a foundational understanding of career pathways in public service through experiential learning opportunities. Interns will participate in weekly professional development workshops, mentoring opportunities, and conclude the program with a final presentation to showcase the insights they've developed over the summer.
The MSLC is looking for Customer Service Interns to support the goals of the Operations and Customer Service Departments. The intern will provide high level customer service support to the agency's internal and external customers. This internship is an excellent opportunity to build on customer service and sales skills while also developing knowledge of Lottery products and operations.

The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission serves the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts through its headquarters and regional offices. Interns may be required to travel to work in any such location as the needs of the Lottery demand.
This is a full-time paid internship from June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026. Program dates can be flexible based on the selected candidate's school schedule. Customer Service interns are required to report in-person to their assigned office location, Monday-Friday. Remote work options will not be available.
