Training: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST

Schedule After Training: Hours vary between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST (Mon-Fri, with some Saturdays)
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage insurance verification, order processing, and patient inquiries efficiently.
Respond to phone inquiries and orders from homecare patients and referral sources.
Provide information on equipment, supplies, and services.
Assist walk-in patients with selecting equipment and supplies.
Prepare patient paperwork and verify insurance/payment methods.
Complete documentation accurately to support billing, data entry, and accounts receivable.
Perform data entry and distribute paperwork as needed.
Arrange delivery, set-up, and pick-up of equipment and supplies.
Ensure timely scheduling with appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate patient files and referral source data.
Resolve patient complaints by identifying issues and coordinating corrective action.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong customer service and computer skills.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and 3rd party vendors is a plus.
Understanding of insurance concepts (drug cards, major medical, per diem coverage, government/patient assistance programs).
Must have strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytic skills.
Comfortable with call monitoring and performance tracking.
Additional Information
Work Location: Fully onsite; remote work may be considered later based on performance (not guaranteed).
Transportation: Public bus access is available near site; candidates must verify bus schedules.
PTO: No pre-scheduled PTO allowed during the first 6-8 weeks.
