As the Associate Account Manager, you are responsible for servicing and retaining Management Liability/Cyber/Professional Liability insurance clients. You are also responsible for providing support to Sales Executives and/or Account Managers in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.
Prepare and send renewal solicitation emails to account teams 120 days in advance of all renewals, and set up renewal activities in EPIC
Track and follow-up for renewal materials to ensure a timely renewal process
Support all aspects of the invoicing process working with the Central Region Financial Transaction Unit.
Help with post-renewal deliverables including following up for subjectivities, binders (including binder extensions or changes), surplus lines documents, and policies
Help with checking policies to their corresponding binder / complete proper policy checklist / update EPIC accordingly
Deliver checked policies to corresponding Account Managers, Producers, and Clients
Confirm on all renewals that EPIC and the team Master List has been properly updated
Oversee mid-term requests including, but not limited to, changes due to contractual requirements, certificates of insurance, increased limit requests, loss runs, etc
Develop underwriter relations and industry knowledge through the attendance of carrier led trainings, conferences, and networking events
Lead projects outside of daily responsibilities, potentially including conducting research on emerging risks, create presentations for wide audiences, draft procedural guidelines, utilize excel to modernize an older system, etc.
Conduct client correspondence and underwriter negotiations on accounts with manager approval
Bachelor's degree required
Property and Casualty producer's license or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
Proficient with standard office computer tools; i.e. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a positive team environment and independently
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
