The Account Manager position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by managing the security services and related operations provided to an assigned group of smaller accounts including client service and problem resolution, service enhancement and expansion, new business development, operational effectiveness, preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, supervision and training.

As an Account Manager you will be performing a variety of management functions for assigned accounts; while providing lead direction to Security Supervisors on requirements, priorities of work and coordinating any necessary needs of the site. If you have experience in positions like Operations Manager, Site Supervisor or Account Manager this role is a great fit for you.

Supervision and Management: Overseeing the day-to-day security operations of the day shift/tour. Supervising and managing a team of security officers, Campus Safety Officers, and/or Campus Peace Officers. Assisting in the development and delivery of security training programs for campus safety personnel. Monitoring and supervising student activities and enforcing parking regulations. Conducting Campus inspections. Overseeing uniform and equipment inspections and preparing reports. Managing and coordinating the campus parking program, including enforcing regulations and issuing citations.

Operations and Incident Response: Conducting patrols (foot and/or vehicle) to deter unauthorized access, vandalism, or suspicious activity. Monitoring surveillance equipment and intrusion detection alarms. Responding to alarms and calls for service from members of the college community and initiating appropriate responses. Investigating crimes and other offenses according to departmental procedures and relevant laws. Facilitating law enforcement and emergency services (e.g., Fire, EMS) response to crimes and medical emergencies. Assisting with the implementation and enforcement of emergency operating procedures, including fire and shelter-in-place drills. Taking command during emergencies until the Director arrives.

Reporting and Compliance: Maintaining records of security-related activities, including daily logbooks and incident reports. Preparing comprehensive reports to document incidents and analyze security data. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and institutional policies.

Community Engagement and Collaboration: Providing a positive role model and fostering positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members. Serving as a liaison with local law enforcement and other emergency services. Assisting in educational programs for students and staff on crime, accident, and fire.
