Specialty Strategic Account Executive
The Specialty Strategic Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the assigned large, multi-billion national Health Plan client. This role focuses on driving business growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing strategic initiatives tailored to the unique needs of an integrated complex health plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned lines of business, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and business development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyzing account and program performance, identifying growth opportunities, and proactively addressing client needs.
- Monitoring industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to anticipate client needs.
This position is remote, but the candidate should live near a major airport with the ability to travel overnight 25-40% as required by business needs.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare sales, customer relationship management and a related field within specialty pharmacy, health plan, PBM, or healthcare industry.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in working with Key Accounts over 5,000 members.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex healthcare accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and drive strategic action.
- Growth mindset with a focus on agility, development, and continuous improvement for self and others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Pay range: $75,500.00 - $158,304.00
