Our client, IT Security Operations industry, is seeking an Account Executive in Healthcare Vertical to join their team. This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who has sold Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Managed XDR (MXDR), or Identity Security Services to large healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and strategically in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: REMOTE with Travel (company locations are Kansas City, MO, Orlando, FL and Rogers AR, living close to one is a plus)
Pay Range: 175k base (with OTE of 300k-350K) + Benefits

What's the Job?
Strategic enterprise sales role focused on healthcare cybersecurity, driving growth by selling MDR/XDR/MXDR and identity security solutions to large healthcare organizations using established relationships and industry credibility.
Identify, engage, and expand new business within enterprise healthcare accounts, leveraging existing ties to hospital systems and provider networks to accelerate pipeline growth.
Partner with C-suite executives, security leaders, and IT stakeholders to assess risk, understand security needs, and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.
Manage the full sales lifecycle-from prospecting through negotiation and close-working closely with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams.
Maintain deep expertise in healthcare security trends, regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH), and emerging threats impacting the healthcare sector.
What's Needed?
7+ years of enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on managed detection/response or identity security.
Required: Recent experience selling IT security services to Healthcare Organizations/Health Insurance (Proven track record of closing high-value deals ($$$ M+) within healthcare organizations).
Strong, existing relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and security decision-makers in the healthcare vertical.
Deep understanding of healthcare operations, compliance challenges, and digital security needs.
Preferred: Previous experience selling identity and access management (IAM), managed security services (MSS), or cybersecurity solutions and ability to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline from scratch, with a focus on new business acquisition.
