The EMBRACE Lab is part of the department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. We conduct research on the development of severe psychopathology, including suicide, personality disorders, and aggression. Our research studies focus on dyadic relationships that are central to risk and resilience for these disorders.
Responsibilities include collecting research data; administering parent- and child-reported interviews and assessments; conducting laboratory-based tasks; and acquiring physiological data. The role also involves checking, uploading, and scoring HR, HRV, and PEP data using MindWare HRV and IMP software.
