Part-Time Letter of Appointment Project Coordinator

The Advancement Office at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a part-time Letter of Appointment Project Coordinator. This position (80% FTE; 32 hours/week) provides essential support to the Manager, Board of Trustees Operations and the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Advancement, assisting with the daily operations of the Advancement Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in office management, Board of Trustees operations, auditing, and other administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and updating Board documents and work plans
  • Assisting with governance surveys and related reports
  • Drafting and editing professional correspondence, including agenda papers and emails
  • Auditing and scanning documents to maintain accurate records
  • Preparing onboarding and training materials for staff and volunteers
  • Supporting office operations and special projects as needed

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:

  • High level writing skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Copilot) and comfort with databases/document management systems

Schedule: The position is five days per week; 32 hrs. total.

Compensation: Letter of Appointment
