Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. We are seeking an Information Services Support Technician to manage installation and troubleshooting of all hardware and software systems. This position works closely with our corporate IT team to resolve issues and with clinical and non-clinical facility staff to support day to day operations.
Manage the installation and maintenance of all hardware and software systems within the hospital. Installs upgrades as needed. Ensures system network is secure. Maintain and update user email accounts. Responds to all users with hardware or software issues in a timely and efficient manner. Assess network efficiency, evaluate current and future needs and develop solutions for improvement. Maintain current network diagram. Configures PC’s for network access and facilitate use of the network. Maintains current hardware and software inventories, including software license information, physical location of equipment and equipment serial numbers. Maintains a tracking system which reflects all equipment and software purchases and well as retirement of PC equipment. Is flexible with work schedule to respond to critical network issues, including on-call coverage if necessary. Acts as the primary IS liaison with outside vendors and/or consultants as needed. Ensures users are storing data properly to provide successful backup.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree is preferred 2 years recent experience working with computer systems and networks required, preferably in a hospital or large medical practice setting. Certification in computer programming, network administration, or systems management preferred.
