Job Description

  • Actively phoning locations where devices are reported as "offline"
  • Clarifying the current situation on site (e.g., power supply, internet connection, device status)
  • Supporting local contacts with simple checks (e.g., restart, check cables)
  • Documenting conversation results in the system (ticketing or monitoring tool)
  • Forwarding more complex issues to technical support or field service
  • Following up on open cases until resolution

Goal of the position: Quick identification and as independent as possible resolution of failures to maximize device availability and avoid unnecessary technician interventions.

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills and confident telephone presence
  • Structured and reliable working method
  • Basic technical understanding (IT/network preferred)
  • Experience in customer service or support is desirable
  • Proficient use of PC and common software applications
  • Good German language skills, spoken and written

Advantageous:

  • Experience with ticket systems or monitoring tools
  • Technical background in IT, IoT, or telecommunications

Working method:

  • Independent handling of assigned cases
  • Prioritization by urgency (e.g., critical locations first)
  • Close coordination with support and technical teams
