The Customer Service Representative position at the City of Tucson's Business Services Department interacts with business owners and taxpayers to assist with issuing and maintaining business licenses as a part of the Taxpayer Assistance Division. This position provides general and specific information to taxpayers about City of Tucson requirements and refers taxpayers to other agencies to ensure compliance with their regulations. Work is performed under the supervision of the Financial Services Supervisor. This position does not supervise.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one (1) year of relevant experience. Equivalency: Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and at least one year of experience assisting customers in person.
