Thermo King Transportkoeling Bv sells, rents, installs, maintains, and repairs Thermo King Refrigeration Units, air conditioners, batteries, charging solutions, generators, refrigeration units, and related products such as tracking solutions. These products and services are sold to companies active in road transport, shipping, bus transport, rail transport, and intermodal transport.
As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the growth and profitability of the sales activities in your sales area within the Netherlands. This includes developing and implementing coordinated marketing and sales plans, B2B programs, training, and business development activities. You stimulate the growth and profitability of our Refrigeration Transport solutions by optimizing sales performance within our existing customer network, developing new business opportunities, and expanding the existing customer base.
Main Responsibilities:
• Achieving the commercial objectives of your region and Thermo King Transportkoeling as a whole.
• Optimizing relationships and sales performance within the existing customer network.
• Developing Business Development within your region: Identifying and exploiting new business opportunities within the Refrigeration Transport Equipment & Service industry.
• Sales Strategy and Execution: Developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the company's goals.
• Representing the Company: Representing Thermo King Transportkoeling Bv at industry events, fairs, and networking events.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the commercial department and other relevant colleagues and partners outside to achieve the objectives of Thermo King Transportkoeling Bv.
What You Bring:
• Industry Expertise: Experience in the Refrigeration Transport or a similar industry is a plus.
• Experience in Industry B2B Sales: Proven track record is a plus.
• Business Development Skills: Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent Networking and Presentation Skills.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset.
• Self-starter, flexible, persistent.
Qualifications:
• Experience in Account Management, Business Development, and consultative sales, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic skills both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to travel within the Netherlands and a few times a year abroad.
Standplaats
Our headquarters is located in Rotterdam, but Thermo King Transportkoeling has nine locations throughout the Netherlands from where work can be done – in case you are not on the road visiting customers and do not work from home.
