At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and motivate everyone to take action against food waste. Currently, 40% of all produced food disappears in the trash. This has a huge impact on people and the planet. Food waste is even responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions! You probably know us from our app, where we offer leftover food and drinks from supermarkets, restaurants, suppliers, cafes, bakeries, hotels, and specialty stores to users of our app. Besides our marketplace, we are working on new solutions such as home delivery, surprise packages in other categories than food, SaaS deprivation solutions, and influencing regulations to reduce food waste. Globally, we have already saved more than 500 million meals - avoiding more than 1 billion CO2e emissions. A gigantic impact!
We are a proud B Corp social impact organization, founded in 2015 in Denmark and currently active in 20 countries. In 2018, we started in the Netherlands and now our Dutch team consists of more than 60 'Waste Warriors'. With more than 5 million app downloads and around 13,000 partners in the Netherlands, we contribute to our goal; a world without food waste. Your Mission:
You play a crucial role in the growth of Too Good To Go Netherlands and in the fight against food waste. You will use your experience in the world of retail and account management to build the right relationships and develop new growth initiatives with our partners. We continuously work on increasing the relevance for our partners through our existing and new solutions.
You report to the Key Account Retail Lead and the team is supported by a Key Account Store Operations Specialist. You are responsible for a portfolio of large and medium-sized partners, with stakeholders from headquarters to the shop floor. You can't wait to improve our collaborations by optimizing the offer with our partners, enhancing the customer experience in the store, and saving as much food from waste as possible. You get energy from making plans and executing them. It's your mission to make more impact!
Your Role:
- You are fully responsible for building on and strengthening the relationships with the partners within your client portfolio, both at headquarters (C-level) and at the shop level.
- You are responsible for acquiring new potential partners, both within the food and non-food sector.
- You create data-driven annual plans, business cases, and pilot proposals and translate these into concrete actions to help partners grow and waste less.
- You visit stores proactively and understand like no other the challenges on the shop floor. You translate these insights into conversations at headquarters.
- You monitor the progress against the KPIs and adjust as needed.
- You support our partners to effectively collaborate with Too Good To Go and achieve goals. This means you don't hesitate to pick up the phone, provide training, onboard new stores, and improve processes.
- You share 'best practices' with the team to improve our working method.
- Together with our Marketing, Growth, and Sales teams, you implement actions to get more food saved in stores or onboard new stores.
