Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: Responsible for customer service processes, including receiving, critically analyzing, and placing sales orders, as well as preparing and following up on deliveries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, supporting all steps of the order lifecycle;
- Receive, validate, and enter customer orders into SAP, performing critical checks to ensure data accuracy;
- Coordinate with internal teams (Pricing, Credit, Regulatory Affairs) to resolve any order blocks or issues;
- Collaborate with the Planning team to confirm material availability and secure on-time deliveries;
- Create deliveries, manage batch selection, and assist with delivery scheduling when needed;
- Issue the invoices;
- Record reasons for delivery delays and proactively work to prevent future issues;
- Request transportation for finished goods and internalize special customer requests;
- Monitor shipments and support customers until delivery is successfully completed;
- Keep customer manuals and specifications updated and aligned;
- Manage the billing of accounts under your responsibility;
- Track and support improvement of Customer Service KPIs, and update procedures and work instructions (ITs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in customer service or related fields.
- Education: bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related area. Postgraduate studies or an MBA is considered an advantage.
- Customer Support Expertise: proven experience in customer assistance, with a strong focus on after-sales support and problem resolution.
- Language Skills: advanced English is required; Spanish is a plus.
- SAP Proficiency: experience with SAP for order management, customer data, and sales processes is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Office Skills: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to prepare reports, analyze data, and communicate effectively.
- Additional Skills: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
