In Thun, you will be expected to work primarily with the two combat training centers (GAZ) East and West, which we operate on behalf of the Swiss Army. This is the right place for you if you want to use your technical, mechanical, or electrical skills for the repair, maintenance, or upgrades of training materials. Your Mission

  • Responsible for the compliance of the service-level agreements (SLAs) within the assigned systems, recognize the need for optimization of the processes/services and initiate corresponding steps.
  • Coordinates the necessary activities between internal and external customers, Customer Service Live, and the system operator to ensure the required system availability.
  • Reviews and optimizes the existing services and maintenance processes in terms of the agreed performance, quality, and economy, including financial control.
  • Creates the necessary instructions for ensuring the agreed service agreements/levels.
  • Develops the basis for the offer and negotiation phase for the conclusion of service agreements and spare parts concepts.
  • Creates ILS concepts (Integrated Logistic Support) in collaboration with engineering and product management.
  • Develops improvement proposals for system and process improvements to reduce lifecycle and operating costs and prepares them as decision bases if necessary.
  • Creates agreed periodic reports and other customer-agreed information, reports and services.
  • Represents Customer Service Live as a sub-project manager in projects.
  • Supports the sales in the invoice control and creates the necessary invoice attachments.
  • Ensures the customer agreed periodic reporting or other agreed information/reports.
  • Investigates, records, and verifies periodically the lifecycle cost relevant information.
  • Supports the SLA manager in the invoice control and creates the necessary invoice attachments.
  • Is co-responsible for the implementation of the continuous improvement process in his area of responsibility.

We are looking forward to

  • Technical education in electrical engineering/electronics or mechanics
  • Further education HF/FH (maintenance management / business administration)
  • Affinity for IT is desirable
  • Experience in service management and dealing with customers and technicians
  • ERP (SAP) user knowledge is desirable
  • Positive attitude towards the military environment
  • Customer orientation, communication skills, as well as economic thinking and acting
  • Confident and convincing appearance as well as independent and duty-conscious way of working
  • Implementation-oriented and solution-oriented with pronounced analytical skills
  • Stylish German in word and writing, English and/or French in word
  • Recognizable social and personality competence
