This job is part of the Loyalty Team within the Customer Division. Responsible for driving value to American by developing and managing partnerships with third party companies. This role will focus on the relationships with AA's hotel partners, including Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, and Rocket Travel.
What You'll Do
- Expands the value to AAdvantage® members through affiliation with third party companies allowing earning of miles through consumption of third party products/services.
- Researches industry trends and competitive landscapes for partnership opportunities.
- Develops relationship and is the key contact for partner account manager.
- Collaborates with legal and privacy teams to establish contractual terms benefiting AAdvantage members, American and third party company.
- Alongside marketing and corporate communications organizations develops plans for communicating and highlighting mileage earn opportunities to the AAdvantage membership.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize campaign execution and streamline processes.
- Monitors performance at a partner level to meet relationship expectations.
- Ensures proper collection and tracking of partner revenues.
- Evaluates data trends and performance to define future course of action for partnership.
All You'll Need For Success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training.
- 3 years experience in marketing or project management.
- 2 years relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Graduate degree or Master of Business Administration.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations.
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions while taking ownership of job responsibilities.
- Ability to manage client relationships and conduct one-on-one meetings with external companies.
- Knowledge of the development of marketing plans.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
