Cyber Support Technician

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age. We are looking for a Cyber Support Technician to join our team in Norfolk. Below are the responsibilities for the position and the requirements to review.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to queries from Command Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Afloat ISSMs, Command Security Manager's Office, and appropriate shipboard Communications Department personnel.
  • Provide patch management services using automated tools or manual methods to build patch sets and distribute to ships to update shipboard servers and workstations.
  • Produce patch disks and other patch sets as required by new IT systems.
  • Test patch sets in multiple environments (lab and shipboard) prior to duplication and distribution.
  • Achieve efficiencies and reduce costs while meeting patching requirements by consolidation, remote management, and sound resource management.
  • Input patch information into VRAM for POAM tracking
  • Conduct MSC shipboard visits based on requests for assistance, patching compliance, and ship availability
  • Respond to Global Service Desk tickets related to the patch sets created.
  • Ability to travel - under 10%

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance required
  • IAM Level II Certification (CASP+)
  • Hybrid commute
  • 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience with patching
  • On-site required to conduct disk testing in the lab for 2-4 days per month, and at an off-site location to duplicate disks and prepare for distribution 2-3 days per month.
  • Knowledge of Windows System Administration and patching processes
  • Navy or MSC IT experience
  • Hyper-V
  • ACAS
  • HBSS
  • STIGs
  • VRAM
