Are you passionate and eager to help others?
If you are engaged, service-minded, and want to think creatively, you could become our next IT support trainee!
The IT Service Department is looking for three IT support trainees starting on June 1, 2026, or August 1, 2026 – we prefer that you have completed the basic course for the training before starting.
DTU is Denmark's leading technical university, with an IT department in constant development that focuses on high professionalism and security, as well as transparency and well-being.
We are an ambitious department with 280 dedicated employees working across various fields. We value interdisciplinary collaboration, as our different perspectives create good synergy and innovative solutions.
We work with the user at the center, and therefore we collaborate closely with the units at DTU for an outside-in perspective that ensures our IT solutions and services are user-friendly and effective.
We have a strong focus on artificial intelligence (especially generative AI), data management, and digitalization maturity. These areas are central to our mission of optimizing and developing support functions for education, research, counseling, and university operations. Our goal is to deliver first-class IT solutions that support and promote DTU's core activities.
DTU is a great learning place with opportunities to try many different branches of the IT field. We always aim to have 8-12 IT trainees employed. We are proud that some of our former students have chosen to continue their careers at DTU after completing their education.
Your trainee program will be conducted as a rotation program with other IT support trainees, meaning you will rotate through different teams in Lyngby, Ballerup, and Risø and try your skills with a variety of IT tasks.
Your Personal Profile We want you to be a smiling and service-minded person who sees opportunities rather than limitations and thrives in a changing and sometimes busy environment.
It is important that you take responsibility for your own learning and show curiosity, while also being a team player.
It is an advantage if you are quality-conscious, structured, and careful, and thus good at planning and creating an overview.
You must be able to communicate in Danish and English both in writing and verbally.
It is a plus if you have a driver's license.
