Functional Developer Position At DTU

Are you passionate about developing and optimizing financial and project management systems? Do you want to create value for DTU's employees and students? We are seeking functional developers for DTU's IT department to help further develop our Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions, as well as the related integrations and processes.

Who are you?

You have an IT background with technical understanding and experience in working with and developing standard systems, preferably Oracle. You are eager to work in the field between business and technology and thrive on creating solutions that make a difference. We emphasize that you:

  • Are good at collaborating and building relationships across the organization.
  • Master both Danish and English in writing and speaking.
  • Understand navigating a complex, political, and academic organization.
  • Are accommodating, competent, and deliver on time.
  • Have knowledge of how databases work.
  • Have familiarity with primarily SQL, but also experience with Python and functional programming.

Your primary duties will be:

  • Assessment and configuration of the system in terms of new needs – both functionally and technically.
  • Supporting testing and quality assurance of deliverables and documentation.
  • Third-level support and error follow-up within your areas of responsibility.
  • Dialogue with professionally responsible individuals within finance and project management.
  • Coordination of development tasks with users.
  • Support and sparring with super users.

Become part of IT Application Management (ITAM) You will be part of ITAM, which is responsible for further developing and supporting DTU's Oracle Cloud solutions – including both EPM and PPM. In EPM, we use the modules Planning, Narrative, ARCS, and EPCM. We work closely together and share across fields to ensure high quality and synergy in our solutions. In your daily work, you will be the link between the systems, business, IT suppliers, and the university's joint cooperation organization, Uniit. You will work on both the further development of existing functionality and the implementation of new possibilities in Oracle Cloud and there is continuous opportunity for further development of your skills as well as great room for responsibility in task solutions.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the LC/CO10 collective agreement and the organizational agreement for IT employees in the public service or the agreement for academics in the public service. The position is for 37 hours and is to be filled by November 1, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
