Internship/Co-op Opportunity

Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. L'équipe Financement d'équipement TD (TDEF) is a center of excellence within the Commercial Banking Specialized Services of TD. Its mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for current and potential commercial clients as an alternative to other traditional banking financing sources, such as loans.

Utilizing your skills in a collaborative and team-oriented work environment, your main responsibilities will include business development, credit analysis, the development and implementation of marketing support programs and solicitation, as well as the execution of various administrative tasks.

  • Favor the development of business, including solicitation, prospecting, and participation in sector activities.
  • Develop and implement direct solicitation strategies and other marketing strategies to meet and exceed objectives.
  • Support account managers in expanding their client database.
  • Carefully prepare and analyze credit requests from current and potential clients.
  • Assist current clients during annual credit reviews.
  • Participate in the legal and administrative process necessary for financing operations.
  • Control overdue payments and collect associated interest.

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in progress in business administration; academic specialization in finance or accounting.
  • Relevant experience in sales or client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Superior business development skills.
  • Possess a great spirit of initiative and demonstrate great ability to establish relationships.
  • Demonstrate a determination to be client-focused by offering exceptional service during every client interaction to optimize loyalty and growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of financing and accounting.
  • Excellent administrative skills and exceptional organizational sense.
  • Bilingualism - French and English.

  • This position is a 4-month internship starting from January 5, 2026, to April 24, 2026.
