Tech Support Technician I

POSITION OVERVIEW: Operates, monitors and maintains computer equipment and their peripherals. Receives direction from Supervisor of IT and IT Lead.

EDUCATION:

  • An Associates degree in Computer Science
  • Bachelor's degree in computer or Information Science, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related field

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the computer field.
  • Basic math skills, ability to read, write, analyze interpret, understand or follow an of the following written/oral documents in the English language: technical manuals, diagrams, schedules, computer instructions.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Able to quickly become proficient with a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
