Surestaff is immediately hiring Customer Service Representatives in Elk Grove Village, IL. The premise of this role is providing efficient and accurate information to both internal and external company customers by utilizing their knowledge of the company products and programs, as well as team members within the Customer Care Department. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $20-$22/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Shifts Available: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Customer Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

• Calculates rates and pricing for the company's services
• Communicates by e-mail and phone with both domestic and international customers.
• Possess excellent time management skills and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight timelines
• Maintains communication with vendor, shipper, customer, carrier and overseas offices throughout the course of a project.
• Prepares quotations of company's services and provides revisions when requested.
• Responsible for reports as needed and requested by management.
• Negotiates cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability.
• Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor, manager, divisional manager or branch manager.

Customer Service Representative Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma; associate’s degree or bachelor degree in business or related field preferred but not required
• Previous experience handling office responsibilities or experience in customer serviced preferred but not required
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working on the phones and interfacing with customers
• Commitment to continual education about the company, products and services.
