We are seeking a high-caliber Strategic Account Executive to spearhead our MuleSoft business expansion across Belgium. This is a senior leadership-level sales role requiring a sophisticated blend of enterprise software expertise, a deep understanding of data connectivity, and the executive presence to navigate complex C-suite negotiations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Market Ownership: Act as the primary driver for MuleSoft business across the Belgian market.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute multi-year account strategies for high-value enterprise clients.
- Executive Engagement: Build and sustain influential relationships with C-level stakeholders and key technical decision-makers.
- Resource Orchestration: Lead a cross-functional regional team to maximize territory coverage and revenue results.
- Sales Excellence & Execution: Consistently meet or exceed annual New Annual Contract Value (NACV) and Net New Annual Order Value (NNAOV) targets.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial prospecting to final execution.
- Business Intelligence: Provide accurate forecasting and regular strategic updates to the EMEA leadership team.
- Solution Advocacy: Define MuleSoft's integration platform as the core enabler for enterprise digital transformation.
- Value Realization: Articulate the business value and ROI of API-led connectivity to non-technical executive audiences.
- Technical Synergy: Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Architects to design high-impact, bespoke technical solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional Background: 8–10+ years in enterprise B2B software sales.
- Proven Track Record: History of closing large-scale, complex deals ($500K+ ACV) and consistently over-achieving quotas.
- Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of integration, data middleware, API management, and cloud/hybrid patterns.
- Skills & Competencies: Advanced ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build consensus.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the "Executive Presence" required for boardroom environments.
- Language: Fluency in English and either French or Dutch (Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and English is highly preferred).
- Location: Based in Belgium with the ability to travel up to 50% across the Belux region.
