We're seeking an Operations Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Leicester facility. This is an exciting opportunity to support the business to achieve strategic goals through the successful coordination of operational projects. Projects will span a variety of exciting areas, including continuous improvement initiatives, IT upgrades and the introduction of new production machinery to support our ever-evolving and innovative environment.

What You Will Do:

STERIS specialises in designing, developing and manufacturing chemistry based sterilisation monitoring systems. Our cutting edge products are essential in the healthcare industry, ensuring the effectiveness of vital sterilisation processes. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, we produce an astounding 16 million tests per month, which we proudly distribute to over 100 countries worldwide.

  • Coordinate varied project scopes from initiation to delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines and resource requirements.
  • Identify and address opportunities to drive operational excellence.
  • Prepare and support individuals throughout change to drive success.
  • Maintain project plans and report to the Operations Project Manager at pre-set intervals so that support and guidance can be provided to ensure project success.
  • Manage expectations of assigned projects with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency of results and benefits by monitoring performance post-project delivery.

Education Degree:

  • Vocational/Technical

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 1 years' managing projects, including stakeholder management.
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence.
  • The ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • A team player attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision (self-starter).
  • Excellent planning, change management and organisational skills.
  • Good judgment to resolve problems effectively.

  4. Must have a desire and ability to learn new systems and equipment to expand system and business knowledge.

  9. Ability to create process flows.
  10. Have a good understanding of technical systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  11. Have good planning and organisational skills.
