Join Stantec as a Manager of Accounts/Environmental Services Project Manager in one of our offices in Villes St-Laurent, Montreal, or Quebec. Within the Stantec community, we have an operational unit of environmental services (ES) that includes a team of professionals at the service of multinational manufacturing companies in all their activities. Our services cover the entire life cycle of facilities, including environmental permits and authorizations related to their implementation, preliminary studies, due diligence for acquisitions, SSE support to facilities during operation, dismantling of facilities at the end of life, and characterization and rehabilitation of post-use sites. Working on our global platform requires not only knowledge of national and local regulations and their application, but also an understanding of political and economic conditions, and the scope of local expertise. Your opportunity Stantec is looking for a high-level professional to fill the role of account manager within our environmental services group. The account manager's role is to understand the growth strategies, initiatives, needs, and expectations of the client, and then translate this understanding into project assignments. The account manager communicates client needs and expectations, leads marketing and new opportunity research, coordinates projects assigned to Stantec, and monitors project execution to ensure delivery meets client expectations. The account manager works collaboratively with our technical leaders and regional client managers to ensure client satisfaction, with the ultimate goal of becoming the trusted advisor to our client. The account manager must also be able to complete projects of different scopes within established budgets and timelines, and to provide a professional client service framework. Your main responsibilities The ideal candidate is geographically located in Quebec and has pre-existing relationships in engineering consulting services and the environmental services industry, as well as a great ability to organize information, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide a professional client service framework. The candidate must have sufficient knowledge of our services to identify opportunities to develop existing services, offer other services or new services that meet client needs and expand our geographic coverage for the client. Leadership Develop and lead a team of high-performing individuals to successfully complete a project. Provide direction and manage projects within a wide range of environmental services. Supervise the staff as the client base and workload increase. Business Development Develop 2 to 3 key accounts with a focus on environmental services Participate actively in regional and national industry groups to promote the Stantec brand. Engage our clients in meaningful discussions about their most critical issues and translate these discussions into opportunities to provide solutions. Present Stantec's new service offerings to our clients and demonstrate the confidence that subject matter experts for these services will be committed to excellence in service delivery. Participate actively in the development of proposals and pricing. Strategic Thinking Identify trends and develop a long-term vision for the industry, market, and clientele. Contribute to the growth of ES by collaborating with our technical experts in the development of new service areas. Anticipate the medium and long-term needs of clients and the dynamics of the industry. Innovate and improve production capabilities, geographic footprint, and the integrated approach of ES. Your background Bachelor's degree in engineering (geological, civil or chemical), geology or other relevant qualifications; More than 10 years of professional experience in the field of engineering consulting, with project management and service responsibilities; More than 5 years of experience in establishing client relationships and business development; Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the management of water and contaminated soils, and applicable MELCCFP Guides; Professional experience in environmental science or engineering; Experience in the management of integrated services and contract negotiation; Strong work ethic and desire to succeed as a team member; Mobility: Travel is required to manage accounts in Canada and Quebec.
