Stanford Department of Economics is seeking a full-time project coordinator to provide complex administrative and operational support for a research project. This position is a 24-month fixed-term position.
Reporting to Professor Marcella Alsan, this position plays a crucial role in supporting the evaluation of the ongoing expansion of a novel jail-based rehabilitation program: Inmate Growth Naturally and Intentionally Through Education (IGNITE). This position involves coordinating the overall research project, ensuring that it adheres to timelines, budgets, and deliverables. You will facilitate collaboration and timely communication between researchers, the National Sheriffs' Association (NSA) and jail staff, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess strong data understanding, exceptional organizational skills, and professional demeanor. The successful candidate is also personable, proactive, creative, and a dependable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. This person must exhibit the abilities to practice sound judgment and decision-making, effective written and oral communication, strong attention to detail, and respectful relationship management.

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $24.46 to $39.66 per hour.
