Account Manager

S&P Global Market Intelligence in Tokyo seeks an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of major non-financial clients. You'll work closely with sales, segment specialists, and product teams to grow our business.

Your role directly influences client retention and new business, contributing to our brand growth in Japan and the future expansion of our business.

Manage client renewals and growth across segments, offering professional development and a key role in our Japan growth strategy.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand client subscriptions through upselling and increased usage
  • Present new features and train clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients at all levels
  • Assess client needs and feedback for strategic growth
  • Analyze usage trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Facilitate product support and data analysis with clients

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, 3+ years client-facing or analytical experience
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
  • CFA, CMA, or MBA a plus
  • Adaptable and eager to learn
