The Work You'll Do:

At Sovos, we're transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance—helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global landscape. As a Commercial Account Manager, you'll be responsible for working with existing and new clients to sell company products including negotiating and closing long-term contracts. You'll manage the renewals process from start to finish while working with various departments throughout the company, with an emphasis on Sales, Legal, and Finance.

More specifically, you will:

• Prospect within your assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities
• Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts
• Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensure quota attainment
• Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction
• Work with sales and marketing teams to share new ideas and business development strategies

What We Need From You:

• 1-3 years' experience as BDR, quota-carrying Sales role or similar; software solution sales preferred
• Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles
• Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Efficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities
• Skilled at time management, prioritization, and territory planning
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test prior to start
