LifeScape is seeking a talented candidate to join our collaborative, interdisciplinary team as a Full-time Nursing Support Technician role in our pediatric, Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). In this vital role, you’ll support our nursing staff by assisting with patient care, medication delivery and completing documentation. Job Responsibilities would look like:

  • Take and record vital signs, intake/output, weights, seizure reports, and other delegated tasks
  • Assist patients with medical needs under nursing direction
  • Safely deliver and document routine daily medications
  • Operate specialized medical equipment as trained
  • Support patient transportation and float across units as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records and other required logs
  • Ensure safety standards, cleanliness, and equipment checks are consistently upheld
  • Report changes in patient condition and any concerns promptly to nursing staff

Requirements

  • A High school diploma/GED equivalency is required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • A valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required
  • May require training/testing to drive accessible vehicles
  • Successful completion and certification in training provided by agency within specific time allotment is required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
  • A minimum of two years experience as a medication aide is preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid certification is preferred
  • Safety Care certification is preferred
  • Medi Aide certification is preferred
